How to make your  turbocharger  working longer ?

Before that, have to know what affects the turbocharger life !

1. Incorrect installation. According to the requirements, when the turbocharger is installed, the journal bearing should be filled with oil and lu-bricated first, so as to avoid the oil not being supplied to the journal bearing in time when the engine is started, resulting in dry grinding an-d damage to the journal bearing.

2. Incorrect startup. After the turbocharged engine is started, it must run at idle speed for a few minutes to ensure that the turbocharger run-ning at high speed after the oil reaches the floating bearing.

3.Incorrect shutdown. Before shutting down, it should run at idle speed for a few minutes to gradually decelerate and cool down the turboc-harger rotor. When the engine suddenly stops, the oil supply stops, and the rotor rotates at high speed under the action of inertia, and the j-ournal bearing will be worn or even ablated due to high temperature and lack of oil.

4.Incorrect oil selection. The thermal load and mechanical load of an turbocharged engine are greatly increased, and the lubricating oil is req-uired to have good viscosity-temperature characteristics, soothing reactivity and wear resistance, and good quality oil must be selected.

In view of the above situation, it is necessary to do the following:

>  Regularly check and clean the air filter to ensure smooth air intake; 

>  Regularly remove the sludge on the compressor impeller, and check the use of the compressor impeller fixing screws and blades to prevent t-he impeller from falling off and causing major accidents;

>  Use the oil produced by the regular manufacturer that meets the standard of use, and operate the engine to start and stop according to the operating procedures, so as to avoid the engine idling for a long time.
